Go for the Tapia flat bowl when you want versatility and chic. The flat bowls make prepping, serving, and eating a seamless and sophisticated experience. Tapia or “rammed earth” is a time-honored and widely used construction technique in Colombia’s dry tropical forests. The tradition involves mixing various soils to create shape and structure for homes and buildings. The colors of rammed earth vary by the soil in each region, from dark terracotta, oranges, yellows, and white clay.

Inspired by Zuahaza textiles, our hand-painted ceramics are a fusion of classic craftsmanship and contemporary design. To make this possible, we collaborated with 2 esteemed workshops in the town of Carmen de Viboral, a beacon of traditional hand painting of intricate motifs on white ceramic. Each piece is a testament to the artistry of the community and their rich heritage.
